Requirements and Documents Needed for IDC Enrollment
· PADI Divemaster certificate · OR a professional instructor certification from another recognized diver training organization. · OR an equivalent dive leader certification from another recognized diver training organization. · Proof of at least 60 logged dives, including experience in night diving, deep diving, and underwater navigation. Submit the original and copies of your dive logbook as verification. · Be at least 18 years of age. Provide a copy of your passport. · A Medical Statement for diving, cleared by a physician within the preceding 12 months, confirming no changes in health status. The physician and the candidate cannot be the same person. Submit the original document. · Be a certified diver for at least 6 months. Note: To be admitted to the Instructor Examination (IE), the candidate must have proof of at least 100 logged dives. Provide copies of the relevant dive logbook pages to confirm this experience. · Provide proof of completing an EFR Primary and Secondary Care course (or an equivalent training program) within the preceding 24 months. Note: Holding an Emergency First Response Instructor qualification (or equivalent) is mandatory for becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI). · Provide original and copies of the following diver certifications: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and the dive leader certification. · 3 color photographs (size 3x4 cm), taken within the last 6 months. · Your personal diving biography (e.g., when you started diving, why, where, and what you enjoy about it). · If you wish to become a Nitrox Instructor, you must be certified as a Nitrox Diver. Submit the original and a copy of the certificate. · Provide proof of purchase for the IDC eLearning and all required course materials, if purchased from another dive center.
